Our uncommon breadth of experience helps us solve complex challenges efficiently and fluently.

  • From early learning centers to universities, we design developmentally adapted environments that balance durability, flexibility, efficiency and discovery.

  • Evergreen Architecture helps organizations design their offices to improve well-being, collaboration, and practicality. Whether adapting historic structures or building new, our workplaces foster focus, productivity, and morale.

  • Our community and civic work turn shared space into common ground. We design public places that welcome everyone and express their collective identity through transparency and care.

  • Evergreen Architecture designs labs and learning environments that support hands-on inquiry and teamwork, and that adapt to changing research needs.

  • Our housing designs integrate natural materials, efficient systems, and finely tuned details that support daily life and long-term resilience.

Sisia Daglian
Principal & Founder

Sisia Daglian founded Evergreen Architecture after leading for more than twenty years the design of distinguished buildings and spaces for premier institutions and commercial companies in the metro Boston area. She pairs results-oriented project management with her ongoing research in ecological sustainable design and the psychological effects of architecture on individuals and groups to improve social interaction and the personal sense of well-being. This produces architecture with a high quality of life. Sisia partners with builders and engineers alike to find elegant, cost-effective solutions for Evergreen’s clients. She structures Evergreen Architecture’s project management services to ease the burden of design and construction on owners. As a certified building official who has worked in city administration, she has exceptional skills in planning and regulatory approvals, forestalling guesswork and saving owners money.

“A skillful architect understands issues and solves problems using the most expressive yet efficient design.”

Sisia became an architect to make places that are well-resolved technically and intellectually and emotionally fulfilling. She orders and vivifies space to enhance the richness of interactions that take place within. Sisia brings pragmatic rigor, thoughtfulness, and empathy to every assignment, large or small. She takes delight in the broad and varied nature of architecture, knowing the right instant to look at problems from above, when to drill down into the details, and how to shift between these viewpoints during a single discussion.
